Gardner-Webb Women's Golf Moves Inside Top-10 At Any Given Tuesday Tournament

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Gardner-Webb women's golf moved into the top-10 on Tuesday at the 2022 GolfWeek Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate.
The Runnin' Bulldogs shot 306 on Monday and 308 on Tuesday, finishing the day in seventh place. The top-four teams had their rounds cut short for the second day in a row due to darkness. GWU and the rest of the 17-team field will wrap up play on Wednesday.
GWU has a one-stroke lead over North Dakota State and is one stroke behind UNC Asheville. The 'Dogs are five strokes behind fifth-place Missouri.
Linnea Hofgren (75-75-150) leads Gardner-Webb individually, sitting in a tie for 18th place. She had four birdies on Tuesday, including three on the front nine. Dominika Burdova (77-77-154) matched her Monday round and is in a tie for 31st place with teammate Neza Siftar (76-78-154).
Kayla Dowell (82-78-160) and Gillian O'Brien (78-85-163) rounded out Gardner-Webb's contingent.
Host Coastal Carolina sits in the lead with four golfers inside the top-10 with three holes to play in the round on Wednesday. Incarnate Word is 19 strokes behind in second place.
