BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Men's Tennis fell to Radford on Wednesday at the Webb Tennis Complex on a 5-2 decision. The loss puts the 'Dogs at 3-2 within the Big South and moves Radford to 6-0 in conference play.

Gardner-Webb's pair of
Victor Putter and
Chrisjan Van Wyk won on the #2 doubles court, 6-4. The Highlanders won the remaining two doubles matches each in tiebreakers to clinch the doubles point. The topflight ended 7-6 (13-11) and #3 was 7-6 (10-8).
Connor Enslin won his singles match in the #6 position, 6-4, 6-0, for GWU's first point of the day. After this, Andres Silva beat out Van Wyk on court 3 for the Highlanders to regain the lead, but Putter won at #2 to tie it back at 2 each.
Radford won the last three singles matches, all in straight sets to clinch their sixth conference victory of 2022. They clinched the win with Demis Taramonlis winning in the topflight 6-4, 7-5 over
Eduardo Dias.
Gardner-Webb has their next match on Saturday, April 2 hosting North Carolina A&T at 1:30 p.m. for Senior Day.
