2022 Fall Tournament Schedule for Men's Tennis Released

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The fall tournament schedule for the Men's Tennis team was released Wednesday afternoon. The slate features four events including Gardner-Webb hosting the Big South Individual Fall Tournament in late October.
The team will first travel to Charlotte for the Dick Stockton 8K Tournament contested from August 23-30. Following this, the Runnin' Bulldogs will play a fall event hosted at UNCG on the weekend of September 16-18.
The annual Carolina ITA Regional will be hosted in Cary, N.C. beginning on Friday, October 21, and lasting until Tuesday, October 25. Last season, Gardner-Webb's duo of Connor Enslin and Sebastian Harris advanced to the quarterfinals of the event, knocking off two ranked opponents, including the third-ranked team in the regional.
The schedule ends with the annual Big South Individual Fall Tournament being held at Gardner-Webb from October 28-30. This fall will mark the first time the event has been held since the fall of 2019. All six Big South members with men's tennis will participate in the competition.
Gardner-Webb will return eight of their players from last season, including three 2022 All-Big South selections (Eduardo Dias - First Team Singles, Enslin - Second Team Doubles, Victor Putter - All-Academic Team). The team also added a transfer, Kim Neithammar (Washburn), earlier this week to bolster their roster for the 2022-2023 season.
