Women's Tennis Release Fall Tournament Schedule

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Gardner-Webb's Women's Tennis Head Coach, Jim Corn, announced the team's upcoming fall tournament schedule for 2022. The slate features three-weekend events hosted by schools within the Carolinas along with a trip to the annual ITA Regionals.
The Runnin' Bulldogs begin the campaign with a trip to Western Carolina the weekend of September 10-11. Following this, GWU travels to UNC Greensboro for a two-day event on September 24 and 25.
The ITA Carolina Regionals will be hosted by Wake Forest with the tournament beginning on Thursday, October 13 with finals being contested on Sunday, October 16. This is the team's lone action within seven weeks.
The schedule ends with the 'Dogs making the short trip down I-85 to Spartanburg, S.C. on November 11, 12, and 13 to participate in the Wofford Fall Invite.
Gardner-Webb is coming off its best season in team history, finishing third in the regular season and advancing to the finals of the Big South Tournament for the first time. The 'Dogs fell to Charleston Southern in the event's championship match to conclude their historic season.
