Gardner-Webb's Neza Siftar Named Big South Women's Golfer of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Gardner-Webb's Neza Siftar was named Big South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week on Thursday after a top-10 finish at the 2022 Elon Invitational.
Siftar (Ljubljana, Slovenia) finished eighth at the Elon Invitational (par 71, 6,065 yards) with a 4-over 217 (71-75-71). She was second in the field with 40 pars, made five birdies and helped the Runnin' Bulldogs finish fourth as a team.
Gardner-Webb will take a short break from their fall schedule before returning to action at the 2022 Buccaneer Classic in Charleston, S.C., on October 17.
