Women's Tennis Completes UNCG Fall Invitational

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Gardner-Webb Women's Tennis competed in a tournament at UNC Greensboro featuring seven different schools at the event. Elon, Davidson, East Carolina, Campbell, and Appalachian State also competed during the weekend's action.
 
The Runnin' Bulldogs dropped their matches against Elon, with Elise Semmartin and Katie Watts each losing in close sets. Emilia Roslund and Maria Jardim won 6-2 over a duo from Campbell to close out Saturday's action.
 
On Sunday, GWU drew the Camels and had Jardim, Roslund, and Cayline Le Grange winning theirs.
 
Gardner-Webb will have their next tournament in mid-October as they will play in the ITA Regionals in Winston-Salem, N.C.
