Campbell trimmed into the lead over the final two minutes of the game, but never seriously threatened. Gardner-Webb led by as many as 18 points in the fourth quarter.

The Runnin' Bulldogs had just nine turnovers themselves and trailed for only nine seconds on Saturday.
Christabel Ezumah was a force inside for the Camels, scoring 20 points to go with 13 rebounds, but only one other teammate scored in double figures as Campbell shot only 39.1 percent for the game (18-of-46) and turned the basketball too often.
