Men's Swimming Third After Day Two Of CCSA Championship Events

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Through two days of events at the CCSA Championships, Gardner-Webb men's swimming sit at 3rd place behind Queens and JMU.
The 'dogs placed third in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay earning 32 points. Brady Fields, Logan Cornelison, Zuri Ramsey, and John Cass combined for a 1:20.74 finish.
GWU did the same in the 400 Yard Medley Relay. Brady Fields, Justin Bender, John Cass, and Logan Cornelison finished with a time of 3:15.90, good for 3rd place.
Men's swimming also posted two 2nd place finishes in the 200 Yard Medley Relay (1:27.17) and a 19.92 time in the 50 Yard Freestyle from Brady Fields.
The Gardner-Webb women currently have 178 total points.
In the 100 Yard Butterfly, Hannah Routh finished in 2nd of the "B" Final with a time of 55:70, earning 15.5 points. Belle Whitfield touched 3rd in "C" with a time of 56.05.
The other notable finish on the women's side was Sara-Michael Jann's 4:24.85 in the 400 Yard IM, the fastest time in "C."
Prelims will begin on Friday at 10:00 A.M. for day three.
