BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. –
Victor Putter clinched the team's win as they swept Limestone 7-0 on Friday afternoon as Gardner-Webb extended their winning streak to nine as they set a school record for the program's D1 era.

In doubles, GWU the wins for the point from courts #1 and #3 with the topflight match serving as the clincher for the 'Dogs.
Cathal Butler and
Sebastian Harris won at #3 by a 6-1 decision and was followed by
Numa Lemieux-Monette and
Victor Putter winning 6-2. The match from position #2 went unfinished.
All six singles matches ended in straight sets for GWU with
Chrisjan Van Wyk having the first to conclude at 6-0, 6-2 from flight #5 in his singles debut for the season.
Kim Niethammer had the next to go final from #6 as he won 6-0, 6-1. Putter sealed the win with his result from court #3 as he won 6-4, 6-1.
Lemieux-Monette had the next to go final with his 7-5, 6-3 win on court #4.
Alex Lepine won on court #2 with a final of 6-4, 6-2 with
Eduardo Dias rounding out the day's action with a 6-1, 7-5 score in the topflight.
"The team is going to be well rested and ready for Sunday as they look to add another win on the year," said Griffith.
The Runnin' Bulldogs look to make it their 10
th consecutive win on Sunday as they play Georgia Southern with a first serve slated for 1:00 p.m.
