Gardner-Webb wrapped up the second and final day of Big South Championship events Saturday afternoon from Blacksburg, Virginia.
 
Freshman Mason Jones finished third in the 1000m with a time of 2:55.86, almost beating his previous best.
 
Karmen Taylor placed third in the Weight Throw with a distance of 17.01m. Taliyah Wade placed tenth in the event with a distance of 15.13m.
 
Ryan Morita finished the mile in 4:20.74, placing seventh in the event. Jessica Perriello ran her mile in 5:16.72.
 
Freshman Quinten Peterson placed seventh in the weight throw, matching his personal best of 16.13m.
 
Ayenda Watson placed fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 14.03m, a personal best.
 
Amy Prugh ran a personal best 10:01.6 in the 4000m, placing seventh. Perriello also ran a personal best 11:04.15.
 
The NCAA Indoor Championships are set to begin Friday, March 10 from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
