Gardner-Webb's Max White Named Big South Men's Golfer of the Week

CHARLOTTE – Gardner-Webb's Max White was named Big South Men's Golfer of the Week on Thursday afternoon following a sharp performance.
White (Tampa, Fla.) finished in a tie for third at the 2023 ECU Intercollegiate earlier this week, shooting a 1-under par 215 over 54 holes.
White led the event with 13 birdies and shot a 70 in the first round to get off to a quick start. He finished up with a 72 and a 73 – pulling within two strokes of first place.
Gardner-Webb will be back in action next week on Pawley's Island, S.C.
