
Gardner-Webb To Host Wrestling Selection Show Watch Party Wednesday Night At 7 PM

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Gardner-Webb University will host a 2023 NCAA Wrestling Selection Show watch party on Wednesday night in Tucker Student Center as the brackets are revealed for Jha'Quan Anderson and RJ Mosley.
The event begins at 7:00 pm in Stewart Hall and is open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided. All Gardner-Webb students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend as both student-athlete's names are revealed as part of collegiate wrestling's premier event.
Mosley is now a three-time NCAA Qualifier at 165 pounds and is the program's first back-to-back Southern Conference champion after beating Appalachian State's Will Formato 3-1 in the finals on Saturday night.
The Oklahoma City, Okla., native will close out a stellar career in his home state, with the 2023 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships set for March 16-18 in Tulsa.
Mosley went 24-5 this season overall and was 7-1 in Southern Conference action.
Anderson is making his second appearance in the national championships after earning an at-large bid on Tuesday afternoon. The Conyers, Ga., native advanced all the way to the SoCon finals at 184 pounds on Saturday before dropping a 4-0 decision in the finals.
Anderson went 22-13 this season overall and was also 7-1 against SoCon foes during the regular season.
Gardner-Webb has now seen 33 wrestlers advance to the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships since 2000.
