GWU Wraps Up USC Open From South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gardner-Webb Track & Field competed in two days of events over the weekend at USC highlighted by top ten finishes and many personal bests.
 
The Runnin' Bulldogs had to deal with some weather on Day 2, but after a long day of competitions, they were able to come away with the following results.
 
The notable finishes for the women were as follows:
 
200 Meters – 25:59 – Traci Cross (Personal Best)
200 Meters – 27.47 – Kendall Reece (Personal Best)
800 Meters – 2:23.72 – Jessica Perriello (Personal Best)
1500 Meters – 4:36.88 – Amy Prugh (8th Place + Personal Best)
100m Hurdles – 18.16 – Kendall Reece (Personal Best)
100m Hurdles – 20.86 – Skyela Amsberry (Personal Best)
Discus Throw – 43.99m – Karmen Taylor (6th Place)

Gardner-Webb is next in action Friday, April 28, where it will compete in the UNCC Invitational from Charlotte. This will conclude the outdoor regular season for the Runnin' Bulldogs.
