RICHMOND, VA - The Gardner-Webb University women's basketball team suffered a non-conference setback on Friday morning, falling to Richmond out of the A10 by a final score of 92-44

Richmond jumped in front 22-5 after one quarter of play, eventually taking a commanding 41-12 lead into halftime. A strong third quarter from Gardner-Webb did at least help build some momentum, but a 32 point fourth quarter from Richmond helped to put the game out of reach.
