SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Gardner-Webb University men's golf team concluded the Fripp Island Preview on Monday, November 4 with a 7^th place finish. The Runnin' Bulldogs concluded the 54-hole event with a team combined total of 893 (+41).
 
Junior Jack Boyer led the way for Gardner-Webb, earning a 3^rd place finish after firing a 2-under, 206 over three rounds. This marks his first top 3 of the season.
 
Junior Bradley Davis, Jr. collected a 27^th place finish with a combined score of 223 (+10) while teammates Will Spicer and Jack Mikesell shot identical scores of 229 (+16) to finish in a tie for 33^rd.
 
Redshirt junior Martin Frerot fired a three-round total of 230 (+17) while Reed Burton and Mark Chandler carded a 54-hole total of 231 (+18).
 
This concludes the fall portion of the Gardner-Webb schedule. The 'Dawgs will return to action on February 17-18 at the Wexford Intercollegiate hosted by Francis Marion Univeristy in Hilton Head, S.C.
