Our bats were hot which was nice to see, we had a lot of clutch hits throughout the entire lineup. It was truly a team effort and I'm excited to see how much better we can get throughout the season."
Lyon was a major contributor for the 'Dawgs at the plate and in the circle pitching four scoreless innings with five k's.
"I am so happy for Andy, she was lights out in the circle and hit the ball hard all weekend.", Wigness added. "As a fifth year grad student who has carried a lot of the weight on offense and defense the last couple of seasons, I am happy to see her have so much success with other supporting pieces around her.
