Gardner-Webb Women's Golf Ties for 10th-place at Low Country Intercollegiate

Runnin' Bulldog junior Neza Siftar finishes tied for 16th on leaderboard!
Hilton Head Island, S.C. - Gardner-Webb's women's golf team (950 total) tied with Presbyterian College for 10th place at the Low Country Intercollegiate last weekend (3/15 thru 3/17).
The three-day event is hosted by Wofford University at the Moss Creek Golf Club in Hilton Head Island, S.C. It is a par 72, 6,009-yard course.
Gardner-Webb junior Neza Siftar (Ljubljana, Slovenia) was the top performer with a 54-hole total of 231 to finish tied for 16th out of 80 competitors on the leaderboard.
Following Siftar on the leader board for the Runnin' Bulldogs was junior Kayla Dowell (Mebane, N.C.), who shot a 233 to finish in tied for 24th place.
Freshman Anna Snoblova (Czech Republic) had a strong showing for the Dawgs, shooting a 244 which was good for a tie a No.54 on the leaderboard.
Another freshman, Julia Buchgeher (Linz, Austria) shot a 246 which tied for 59th place.
Rounding out the Gardner-Webb competitors was sophomore Georgia Barr (Calgary, Alberta, Canada), who shot a 250 to tie for 71st on the leaderboard.
East Tennessee State (902 total) took the team title ahead of Richmond (907) who finished second while USC Upstate (925) placed third.
Up Next: Gardner-Webb will compete at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate on Tuesday April 2nd and Wednesday April 3rd, at the Mimosa Hills Golf Club., hosted by Appalachian State in Morganton, N.C.
