Gardner-Webb's Max White Named to Big South Conference Golf All-Academic Team for Second Consecutive Year

Runnin' Bulldogs graduate senior also picks up All-Conference Golf Honorable Mention Honors!
FRIPP ISLAND, S.C. The Big South Conference announced its post-season men's golf awards on Monday afternoon and Gardner-Webb graduate senior Max White (Tampa, Fla) was selected Big South All-Conference Golf Honorable Mention as well as named to the Big South Conference All-Academic Team.
During the year, White ranked second on the Runnin' Bulldogs squad and 17th in the Big South in stroke average at 74.15.
At Big South Conference Men's Championship Tournament, White was the top performer for Gardner-Webb as he won the Dawgs' only point in a 19-hole battle with Winthrop's No.1 golfer Mason Tucker during the Championship Match play.
White also prevailed (5&4) over High Point's top golfer Miller Carr in the Conference semi-finals.
The Tampa-native also had a Top 10 finish (tied for second) this season.
An All-Academic Team member in 2023, White is a repeat selection in 2024.
White, a Business Administration Major, has a 4.00 GPA with an Undergraduate GPA of 3.7 in Accounting.
