CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Alec Burns and Connor Maggi have been named to the 2024 Big South All-Conference First Team, and Burns has been named to the All-Academic Team. The conference announced on Wednesday, May 22.

A graduate student from Amherst, New Hampshire, Burns recorded a .341 batting average, 56 hits, 37, runs, 38 RBIs and 16 home runs in 2024. He led the Runnin' Bulldogs in all of those statistical categories.

A junior from Forest, Virginia, Maggi pitched 60.0 innings this season registering a staff leading 73 strikeouts. He also recorded a 2-0 record, and a 3.00 ERA on the year.
