CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Gardner-Webb University women's tennis team opened the spring portion of its schedule with a 7-0 defeat at the hands of North Carolina on Saturday afternoon.
On court two, Reese Brantmeier and Alanis Hamilton quickly gave the Tarheels a doubles point advantage with a 6-0 win over
Natalie Crawford and
Milica Prokic before UNC took the doubles point moments later in the No. 3 doubles match.
The Runnin' Bulldogs were unable to pick up any wins in singles competition as the Tarheels swept the day.
