The 400-yard medley relay was solid for Gardner-Webb as well, with a second place run. Junior

Manuel Brandner combined to touch the wall in 3:20.73
Gardner-Webb saw two athletes finish under a school record time in the men's 1000-yard freestyle, even scoring a win in the process. Freshman
Victor Cury scored top spot in the event in one of his first races for Gardner-Webb with a time of 9:21.15, while GWU teammate sophomore
Santiago Alcantara placed third in 9:26.78. Another Runnin' Bulldog placed fourth, with junior
Luke Weber turning in a time of 9:36.10
