CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Official this morning, the Big South Conference has released the individual seeding and match-ups for the upcoming conference singles and doubles tournaments, with six Runnin' Bulldogs seeded to compete across the combined four men's and women's brackets
Gardner-Webb will feature two participants in the men's singles bracket. As the No. 4 seed, sophomore Alexandre Bergeron will compete against No. 14 seed Ninad Raut of Longwood at 12:30 on Friday, while sophomore Boyd Schreiber lands the No. 11 seed and will compete against Daniel Barisov of Longwood at 2:00 pm
In doubles, the Runnin' Bulldogs will be represented by Schreiber and teammate sophomore Kaua Cressoni as the No. 4 seed, taking on the duo of Fukuhara and Hankins from NJIT at 11:00 am on Friday in Rock Hill
Over in the women's singles bracket, Gardner-Webb lands both the No. 6 and No. 8 seeds. Senior Emma Shasteen will take the court as the No, 6 seed at 12:30 on Friday to face No. 12 seed Alexia Iancu of Charleston Southern, while No. 8 seed junior Alizee Poulin represents GWU against No. 9 seed McKenzie Davis of Presbyterian, also at 12:30
Then in women's doubles, the Runnin' Bulldogs feature the duo of No. 2 seed Shasteen and sophomore Arili Boshoff, up against No. 7 seed Centeno and Sager from UNC Asheville, with that match scheduled to begin at 11:00 am on Friday
The 2025 Big South Men's and Women's Individual Tennis Championships will begin on Friday, October 24th and run through October 26th, hosted at the Rock Hill Tennis Center in Rock Hill, S.C.
Seeds are based on overall WTN rankings, and draws were arranged to avoid players from the same school going head-to-head in the first round.  Below are the singles and doubles draws along with the daily match schedule.  Match times are subject to change.
