BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Head coach Mike Griffith of the Gardner-Webb men's tennis team has announced the signing of Adam Patry for the upcoming 2026 season.

A top Canadian junior player from Quebec, Patry looks to bring his skill and competitive nature to the three-time defending Big South Champions and reigning Big South Tournament Champions.

"Our pipeline of great players from Quebec continues," said Griffith. "I am very excited to announce Adam's commitment to Gardner-Webb and looking forward to coaching him for the upcoming spring season."

Patry's current UTR ranking is 11.11 while earning a Canadian national ranking of 11 in doubles and 13 in singles. Patry has won three ITF J30 doubles tournaments as well as a single J30 singles tournament.

Griffith added, "Adam has a big game that is offensive and plays a similar style as former all-conference player Numa Lemieux-Monette."

The Runnin' Bulldogs have impressed during the fall season and will look to continue their dominance of the Big South in the spring. For all up-to-date news and highlights for men's tennis, please visit www.gwusports.com.
