In the women's 5k championship, Perriello once again led the way for the Runnin' Bulldogs, finishing as an All-Conference runner for the second year in a row with a time of 18:22.3 and a 13th place finish. Just behind Perriello was Devanny, a first time All-Conference finisher after posting a 14th place overall finish and a time of 18:22.6. The Runnin' Bulldogs posted two more sub 20-minute times with
Maggie Dirks posting a time of 19:26.1 in her first Big South Championship meet, and
Emily Leatherman clocking in at 19:48.8
In the men's 8k championship, junior
Kaden Pratt led the way for Gardner-Webb with a personal-best time. Pratt crossed the line in 27:38.0 to finish as the Runnin' Bulldogs top runner. Just behind, freshman
Brendan Athy had an excellent Big South Championships debut, recording a time of 27:53.7 to finish second among the GWU athletes in the field
