BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Sophomore Kaua Cressoni of the Garnder-Webb men's tennis team enters the 2026 spring campaign with an ITA national ranking of 115, the first time in his career he has been ranked.

"It is great to see Kaua in the rankings to begin our spring season," said head coach Mike Griffith. "This recognition is due to his good fall in which he went undefeated in a pair of tournaments."

A 2025 Big South All-Conference player, Cressoni has carried the momentum into the 2025-26 season after going unbeaten at Davidson and Queens earlier this fall, compiling an overall singles record of 7-2. Cressoni joins former GWU players Maximilian Scholl and Millen Hurrion, who were nationally ranked during the 2019 season.

Cressoni and the Runnin' Bulldogs open the 2026 campaign on January 19 at Campbell.
