BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - In the team's final home action of 2025, the Gardner-Webb wrestling team fell to visiting Ohio on Sunday afternoon by a final of 28-15

The Runnin' Bulldogs got off to a brilliant team start on Sunday, taking three bouts in a row, including two by fall, to take a 15-3 lead. redshirt sophomore Jackson Baglio at 133 pounds and graduate student Dominic DiTullio at 141 pounds were especially impressive early on, with the duo recording falls in 55 seconds and 2:35 respectively. Junior Drew Pepin made it three straight for the Dawgs at 149, with a narrow 1-0 decision. Ohio would take the next six bouts in a row from there however, as Gardner-Webb fell 28-15.
