BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Gardner-Webb (2-2) women's tennis team was dealt a 6-1 defeat at the hands of East Tennessee State (4-4) on Tuesday afternoon at the Webb Tennis Complex.
 
ETSU was able to take all three doubles matches to earn the point before earning five-of-six wins in singles action while securing the victory for the Buccaneers. Alizée Poulin was the lone Runnin' Bulldog to capture a win, taking down Jana Rovira 7-6, 6-4 in No. 2 singles.
 
The Runnin' Bulldogs return to the courts on Saturday, February 22, traveling to Cullowhee, N.C. to take on the Catamounts of Western Carolina. First serve is slated for 2 p.m.
