BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb University wrestling team scored its second Southern Conference win of the season on Friday night, easily defeating Presbyterian by a final of 39-7

The action started easy for Gardner-Webb on Friday night, with the Runnin' Bulldogs scoring forfeit victories at 125 pounds and 157 pounds to go ahead and build a lead. By the time No. 28 ranked graduate student Todd Carter finished off a 9-4 decision over Ryan Luna of Presbyterian, GWU was ahead 20-3 on the scoreboard and well in control. Junior Josh McCutchen then defeated Toler Hornick by a 15-0 tech fall, and senior Peyton McComas easily scored a win over Morevens Saint-Jean by fall, eventually finishing out the lopsided victory for the Runnin' Bulldogs

Gardner-Webb concludes a run of three straight home matches and its full home schedule on February 14th, hosting Bellarmine in SoCon action, scheduled for 7 p.m. inside Paul Porter Arena
