CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Per release from the league office, the Gardner-Webb University men's golf team has earned the No. 5 seed for the upcoming Big South Men's Golf Championship

The Runnin' Bulldogs will begin the journey at hole No. 10 on Monday, April 21st, with first round action scheduled to begin at at 8:45 a.m. The second round is expected to begin later that afternoon, with Gardner-Webb teeing off from hole No. 1 at 1:40 p.m. After a full opening day on the course, the Runnin' Bulldogs will once again return on Tuesday morning at a time to be determined for the final round of play, before the top four teams in the competition face-off in match play, scheduled for an 8 a.m. start on Wednesday, April 23rd. The 2025 champion from match play will receive the Big South automatic berth to the NCAA Regionals.

The Big South Men's Golf Championship will be held at the Ocean Creek Golf Course as part of the Fripp Island Golf and Beach Resort for the second consecutive year, and will utilize a par 71, 6,526-yard layout to determine this year's champion. Championship action can be followed online via Leaderboard King's Live Scoring platform and at bigsouthsports.com
