BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – With summer league baseball in full swing, a number of Gardner-Webb players are producing successful numbers with their respective clubs.

Drew Ripepi, of the Boca Raton Beach Boys in the South Florida Collegiate League, has been solid at the dish, hitting .375 with a stellar .474 on-base percentage. In 16 at-bats, he has six hits and six RBIs.

Ethan Liao is also putting up good numbers with the Lincoln Potters of the Pacific Empire League. Liao is batting .302 with a .714 on-base percentage. Of his 16 hits, five have been for extra bases, including four doubles and a homerun while also tacking on 13 RBIs.

Patrick Niehus has amassed 12 RBIs following four doubles and homerun for the Charlottesville Tom Sox of the Valley League.

Ryan Kennell is batting .267 with a pair of doubles, 11 walks, and four RBIs for the Williamsport Crosscutters of the MLB Draft League.
