BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - Per release from the league office, five members of the Gardner-Webb women's soccer team have been named to the 2025 Big South Conference Mid-Season Watch List. On the list for the Runnin' Bullodgs include graduate forward
Annie Slovak, junior forward
Olivia Tribolet, senior midfielder
Peyton Bryant, senior defender
Camila Lezcano, and senior goalkeeper
Savannah Dixon
Leading the line for the Runnin' Bulldogs for much of the season has been Tribolet, in her first season of NCAA Division I action. The Madison, Miss. native leads GWU with three goals, one assist and seven points. Slovak meanwhile has been perhaps Gardner-Webb's biggest contributor off the bench, with a team high 256 minutes played as a substitute this season and at least 29 minutes in each match to date.
Lezcano and Bryant meanwhile have helped lead the Runnin' Bulldogs defensively, with the pair second and third on the team in minutes played by outfield players. Bryant has tallied 663 minutes, including the full 90 in each of the first four games, while Lezcano has played 636 and added a goal and an assist South Carolina State at the end of August
Dixon has been one of the standout players this season, not just for Gardner-Webb but in the Big South Conference. The Raleigh, N.C. native leads the Big South with 46 saves, including 10 against Elon, nine against College of Charleston and eight against The Citadel. 46 total saves is inside the top-20 nationally for NCAA Division I
