CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Per release from the conference office, junior forward
Olivia Tribolet of the Gardner-Webb women's soccer team has been named Big South Offensive Player of The Week
Tribolet had an excellent week for the Runnin' Bulldogs, scoring twice, providing one assist, and helping force an own goal as well. Against Wofford on Thursday, Tribolet helped pressure a Wofford defender into a mistake at the back, before then scoring twice and adding an assist as Gardner-Webb defeated SC State 10-2 for its first win of the season. The Madison, Miss. native recorded six shots across both games, playing just 115 minutes in total.
So far in 2025, Tribolet has started every game for Gardner-Webb and leads the team with three goals, one assist, five points, 10 shots. The two goals against SC State are the first brace of her NCAA Division I and Gardner-Webb career, having been accomplished in just 39 minutes of action.
The Runnin' Bulldogs hit the road for the next four straight road games, back in action with The Citadel at 5 pm on Thursday, September 4th
