BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb wrestling team was back on the mat inside Paul Porter Arena for the first time in nearly a month on Friday night, falling to Chattanooga in Southern Conference action

In defeat, Gardner-Webb still recorded two impressive individual victories. At 133 pounds, nationally ranked redshirt sophomore T.K. Davis outlasted Ethan Uhorchuk, scoring a 17-6 major decision and running his own individual record for the season to 12-1. A little while later, sophomore Tucker Cell made lightning fast work of opponent Mason Reiniche at 165, scoring a fall in just 20 seconds.
