Noah Zeiger (Heildberg, Germany) is the Men's Freshman of the Week honoree for matches played Jan. 19-25, it was announced today.
Cressoni earned GWU two points in the Runnin' Bulldogs' 5-2 season-opening win against Campbell last Monday. He teamed up with
Boyd Schreiber to earn a 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles, and then tallied a straight-set win in singles, defeating Thomas Drapeau on the No. 3 court.
Zeiger opened his collegiate career with a 7-6 (5-0), 6-0 win over Campbell's Matias Loafing at the No. 5 singles flight. Zeiger and teammate
Graham Bourne were also ahead, 5-2, at No. 3 doubles when the Runnin' Bulldogs clinched the doubles point.
