BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb wrestling team wrapped up the home portion of its 2025-26 schedule on Thursday night inside Paul Porter Arena, suffering a 32-14 defeat to George Mason

The Runnin' Bulldogs struggled early on Thursday night, going down 17-0 after the first three bouts. Despite the difficult start and score, Gardner-Webb did manage to produce a couple of notable performances. Again wrestling up a weight class at 285, senior Josh McCutchen defeated Herbet Billups by tech fall 17-2, running his 285 record for the last month to a perfect 5-0. 14th ranked redshirt sophomore T.K. Davis also finished off an undefeated home season at 133, beating Gunner Chambers by tech fall 21-5
