BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb women's basketball team (11-17, 8-6 Big South) saw its season-long five game winning streak snapped on Saturday afternoon, falling 83-53 to High Point (24-4, 13-2 Big South)
The Runnin' Bulldogs started slow on Saturday afternoon, with visiting High Point jumping out to a 29-10 lead after 10 minutes.The Panthers shot 12-of-16 in the opening quarter, versus just 5-of-17 for Gardner-Webb. GWU was led by junior guard

Walker led the Runnin' Bulldogs with 12 points and knocked down 5-of-7 shots, Martin added 10 points on an identical 5-of-7 shooting in just 14 minutes, while in total 10 different players scored for Gardner-Webb
