The Runnin' Bulldogs started strong with three straight wins to open the contest, but it would be six straight defeats in the middle that made the difference. Tyson Lane started with a 2-1 decision over Gylon Sims at 125, followed by nationally ranked T.K. Davis over Teegan Vasquez at 133 by 16-7 major decision. Dominic DiTullio made it three in a row for GWU with an 8-2 decision over Marcus Wright. Josh McCutchen scored an 8-1 decision over Christian Bell at 285 to finish off the match
