HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Gardner-Webb University women's golf team wrapped up play Tuesday at the Low Country Intercollegiate, finishing 12th overall with a 54-hole total of 964 (331-317-316) at The Golf Club at Indigo Run.
The Runnin' Runnin' Bulldogs showed steady improvement throughout the three-round event, trimming 15 strokes from their opening round to the final round and closing the tournament with their best team score of the week (316).
Elle Overly led the Runnin' Bulldogs after firing a three-round score of 236 (+20). Her best performance came in round two where she carded a 4-over par 76.
Eva Bulger finished in a tie for 51st after turning in a total 54-hole scorecard of 245 (+29). Bulger was able to card an 80 (+8) in the final round of play.
Anna Snoblova finished just behind Bulger with a three-round total of 247 (+31) while teammate Georgia Barr concluded her tournament with a score of 248 (+32).
Julia Buchgeher rounded out the lineup for the Runnin' Bulldogs, firing a two-day total of 253 (+37). After identical rounds of 85, Buchgeher saw her best score on round three, carding an 83 (+11).
