Davis Seeded No. 17, Begins Run at 2026 NCAA Championships on Thursday Morning

| By:
CLEVELAND, OH - Redshirt sophomore and two-time defending Southern Conference Champion T.K. Davis will begin his run at the 2026 NCAA Division I Championships on Thursday morning, taking the mat as the No. 17 seed at 133 pounds

At 133 pounds, Davis posted a remarkable 2025-26 season. Fresh of winning the Southern Conference Freshman of The Year award last season, Davis went 24-1 this campaign, including a perfect 8-0 in SoCon Duals and 11-0 overall in the league on his way to landing GWU's first ever Southern Conference Wrestler of The Year award. The Rockmart, Ga. native also went a perfect 18-0 in dual matches and has won 20 bouts in a row, a streak that dates back to Thanksgiving, giving Davis one of the best win-loss records in the nation

Davis makes a return trip to the NCAA National Championships beginning on Thursday, where he also competed last spring for Gardner-Webb. As the No. 17 seed, Davis is once again paired with No. 16 seed Zan Fugitt of Wisconsin. The first round can be seen at 12 pm, live on ESPN Plus, while second round action is set to begin later in the day
