T.K. Davis advanced to the finals in the 133 pound weight class
Making quick work at 133, top-seeded Davis advanced to Saturday's finals where he will look to defend his 2025 Southern Conference title. Davis defeated Cody Tanner of VMI by tech fall 22-4 (3:54) in the quarterfinals on Friday, then won by major decision over Logan Heil of Campbell, 25-12 in the semifinal round
Other athletes to make an impressive run on Friday include grad student
Dominic DiTullio. DiTullio scored a quarterfinal win over Marley Williamson of Davidson at 184 pounds, 3-0 by fall, before dropping his semifinal match. DiTullio will see Dyson Dunham VMI in the 184 consolation bracket on Saturday
At 174 pounds, freshman
Isaiah Guerrero was also impressive in his first SoCon Championships. Guerrero defeated Cole Campbell 7-2 in the quarterfinal round. He's due to meet Marc Koch of Davidson in tomorrow's consolation bracket match
Senior
Joseph Giordano picked up a win at 157 pounds, moving on in the consolation bracket for Saturday. Giordano defeated Ray Cmil of VMI by tech fall 20-5 (7:00) and will face Jeremiah Price of App State tomorrow
Despite a quarterfinal loss, senior
Josh McCutchen logged more good results up a class at 285. McCutchen defeated Cole Will of VMI by a 9-0 decision and will move on to take on Daulton Msyer of Bellarmine on Saturday afternoon
At 125 pounds, senior
Tyson Lane advanced to the semifinal round of his division. Lane beat Waylon Rodgers from VMI by an 8-4 decision in the quarterfinals. Despite a semifinal loss, Lane moves on to face Cooper Foster of App State on Saturday afternoon in search of a top-three finish
