FRIPP ISLAND, S.C. - The Gardner-Webb women's golf team wrapped up play Tuesday at the 2026 Big South Women's Golf Championship, finishing seventh overall after three rounds at Ocean Creek Golf Course at Fripp Island Resort in Saint Helena Island, South Carolina. Gardner-Webb posted rounds of 305, 336 and 312 to finish the tournament with a team total of 953.
Georgia Barr led the way for the Runnin' Bulldogs, tying for 10th place individually with a three-round score of 229 (+13). Barr opened the championship in impressive fashion with a 69 (-3) in the first round, the lowest round by any Gardner-Webb player during the tournament, before adding rounds of 79 and 81 to secure her top 10 finish.
Eva Bulger also delivered a strong performance for Gardner-Webb, tying for 15th overall with a total of 230 (+14). After rounds of 77 and 82 in the opening two days, Bulger closed the tournament with one of the Runnin' Bulldogs' best rounds of the week, firing a 71 (-1) in the final round to climb the leaderboard.
Anna Snoblova and Julia Buchgeher each tied for 34th place, both finishing with three-round totals of 247 (+31). Snoblova carded rounds of 78, 87 and 82, while Buchgeher posted scores of 81, 88 and 78. Elle Overly rounded out the Gardner-Webb lineup, placing 40th with a total score of 255 (+39) after rounds of 83, 89 and 83.
