Robinson High School where he was a four year member of the swim team...Qualified for the state championships all four years and was named all-conference all four years... State champion in the 100 fly...Holds the school record in the 50 free, 100 free, 100 back, 100 fly, 200 IM, and was a member of the 200 medley and 400 free relay...Was the first 4A state champion in the school's history... Recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award.
