Spent the entire year on the #3 court going 15-6 on the year partnering with a pair of players during the season ... In the first half of the year, Butler played with John Spring going 4-4 in matches including a three-match win streak over Lenoir-Rhyne, Queens and Wingate ... Played with Sebastian Harris for the latter half of 2023 and went 11-2 together that featured a seven-match unbeaten run and perfect 3-0 mark in conference action ... Provided a key pair of wins in the Big South Tournament in the Semifinals and Finals of the event.

Clinched the team’s tenth win of the year with his 6-3, 6-2 win over Limestone (3/11) from court 6 … Had a 6-3, 6-1 victory earlier in the day as well in the first match of the day against Limestone … Paired with John Spring for doubles matches and collected four consecutive victories against Davidson (1/23), Wofford (1/26), Lenoir-Rhyne (2/1), and Lees-McRae (2/2) … Partnered with Alex Lepine for a 6-0 doubles win against Hampton (2/28) on the No. 2 court … Had a 2-1 record in singles and 6-4 in doubles for eight total wins.
