Blake DuDonis began his second year as an assistant coach forthe Gardner-Webb Women’s Basketball team in 2013-14, havingjoined head coach Rick Reeves’ staff in June of 2012.

DuDonis returned to his alma mater after serving one year as anassistant coach with the Merrimack College women’s basketballprogram in North Andover, Mass. in 2011-12.

DuDonis served as the recruiting coordinator and will work withthe Runnin’ Bulldog post players in 2013-14.

In 2012-13, DuDonis’ first season on staff at GWU, he wasin charge of film exchange and travel for the Runnin’Bulldogs, worked with post players and oversaw the student managersand work-study staff.

As a student-assistant coach at GWU from 2009-11, DuDonis, whooversaw practice preparation, film sessions and game day events,helped the Runnin’ Bulldogs win its first-ever Big SouthConference Championship and reach the NCAA tournament for the firsttime in school history as a 14 seed with a 23-11 record in 2010-11.In 2009-10, he helped the women’s basketball program win theBig South Reuglar Season Championship and reach the WNIT for thefirst time in the program’s history with a school record 28-5mark.

DuDonis graduated from Gardner- Webb University (NC) in 2011with B.A. in Journalism- News Editorial.  While at Gardner-Webb he was editor-in-chief of the school paper, ThePilot, for three years. While there, he interned with thecollege basketball magazine, The Basketball Times,and conducted interviews with NBA Hall of Famers KareemAbdul-Jabbar and Artis Gilmore, as wellas ESPN analyst Jay Bilas and Memphis Grizzlesowner Chris Wallace. He also served as the color commentary forGardner- Webb men’s basketball games for the local radiostation, 88.3, WGWG.
