Assane Ndiaye returns for his second season as a volunteer assistant coach with the women's soccer program.

Before joining Gardner-Webb's women's soccer in 2019, Ndiaye volunteered with the men’s soccer program at Centre College in 2018 following three seasons at the high school level.
 
While at Centre, Ndiaye was responsible for managing the team’s video analysis program, statistics, assisting with coaching and recruiting and performing administrative duties. He helped lead the Colonels to a 14-4-3 record, including an 11-1-1 record at home and a Southern Athletic Association Championship and NCAA Division II Tournament At-Large bid.
 
On the high school level, Ndiaye spent time with Clinton County HS, guiding the CCHS program to its first ever 15th District championship match and its fourth appearance in the region semifinals. Prior to his time at Clinton, Ndiaye was at Cookeville High School for two seasons, which won the 2016 and 2017 District 6 AAA Sectional Championships and made its first appearance in the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) state semifinals.
 
Ndiaye is a native of Senegal and was a five-year captain at Sacred Heart School. He holds three USSF coaching licenses – F, E and D.
