Holly Tupper is entering her first season as assistant coach at Gardner-Webb in 2018.
Tupper joins the Runnin’ Bulldogs after spending the previous two seasons as at Mississippi College, where she was a graduate assistant for the 2016 season before being named the interim head coach in October 2017.
Tupper was also a standout player at Mississippi College, where she ranks among the career leaders in program history. She stands as the career leader in digs with 1,485 and is sixth all-time in service aces with 78, and also had four of the top-six single season digs marks in team history.
Tupper earned All-American Southwest Conference honorable mention honors on three occasions during her playing career and was also as standout in the classroom, being named to the conference honor roll three times, as well as NCCAA Volleyball Scholar-Athlete Team honors her senior season.
She also has experience coaching at the club level, coaching the Mississippi Impact Junior Volleyball Club from 2014-2015, as well as the Red Storm Volleyball club in her hometown of Baton Rouge, La. during the spring of 2016.
Tupper earned her Masters of Applied Exercise Physiology from Mississippi College in May 2018, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Pre-Physical Therapy) with honors in May 2015.
