2017-2018 at Gardner-Webb: Posted a career-best 26-8 mark for the season … Wrestled exclusively at 157 pounds … Went 10-2 during dual competition … Posted five tech falls and two pins on the season … Went 6-1 during SoCon action and dominated the 157-pound weight class at the 2018 Arby’s SoCon Championships … Posted two comfortable decisions and a pin to win the title in Charleston, S.C. to earn a berth to the 2018 NCAA Championships.
2016-2017 at Gardner-Webb: Went 18-7 as a redshirt sophomore at 165 pounds … Posted two major decisions and four tech falls on the season … Had one pin … Was one of the top performers in the SoCon at 165 pounds throughout the regular season.
2015-2016 at Gardner-Webb: Redshirted … Wrestled well at 165 pounds unattached … Posted a 13-5 mark … Picked up a win over No. 6 Jim Wilson (Stanford) at the 2016 Southern Scuffle … Recorded a 7-3 decision in that match … Went 2-2 at the event, falling in the quarterfinals … Registered 20 takedowns on the season … Had three near falls … Won two matches via major decision and one via tech fall.
2014-2015 at Gardner-Webb: Saw action as a true freshman at 149 and 157 pounds … Posted a 10-12 overall record with five technical fall wins and one major decision … Wrestled in three tournaments to open the season and posted a solid 6-4 record at 149 pounds … Moved into the starting lineup at 157 pounds vs. Binghamton in January … Posted a 2-2 record against SoCon foes … Advanced to the semifinals at the 2015 SoCon Championships at 157 pounds … Dropped a tight, 8-4, decision in the third-place match.
High School: Wrestled at state powerhouse Jefferson County (Ga.)
