Dittrich Named NSCAA All-South Region

Mission, Kans. - The honors continue to come in for the 2006 Gardner-Webb men's soccer team, as sophomore Dirk Dittrich earned All-South Region honors announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA).
The GWU defender from Moessingen, Germany was named to the third team.
The sophomore co-captain can add this honor to a list of other awards he has received this season, as Dittrich was the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament MVP and was also named First Team All-Atlantic Sun.
Dittrich and the Bulldogs finished the season 9-8-4 and made history winning their first-ever Atlantic Sun Conference tournament championship as well as receiving their first NCAA Division I automatic bid.
