
Elizabeth Ketterer Named CCSA Swimmer of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. Gardner-Webb sophomore Elizabeth Ketterer (Chattanooga, Tenn.) has been selected as the CCSA Women's Swimmer of the Week for meets competed Oct. 27-Nov. 2, it was announced today.
Ketterer had an outstanding performance last weekend, medaling in four events to help lead Gardner-Webb to its first ever win over America, 165-123. Ketterer won the 1,000 free in a solid time of 10:48.02, and then won the next event, the 200 free with a time of 1:55.21. Two events later, Ketterer won the 500 free in 5:10.04, and ended the day with a 200 Free relay time of 1:40.60.
Ketterer has helped guide the Bulldogs to an undefeated season thus far. She and the rest of head coach Mike Simpson's team will return home for a meet on Nov. 14 against Georgia Southern.
