Diamond 'Dogs Game Friday Washed Out, To Be Played Saturday At 11 AM

DELAND, Fla. - Gardner-Webb's semifinal appearance vs.
top-seeded Lipscomb at the 2008 A-Sun Baseball Championship
Tournament was washed out Friday night.
The game will be played at 11 am ET Saturday.
If Gardner-Webb (28-28, 2-0 in tourney) wins, the Diamond 'Dogs
would play #4 Belmont at 3 pm ET for the championship. In that
scenario, Belmont would have to beat GWU twice for the title.
Should Gardner-Webb fall to once-beaten Lipscomb (30-28, 1-1 in
tourney) on Saturday morning, GWU and Belmont would still play at 3
pm ET in an elimination game. The winner would play Lipscomb on
Sunday for the title.
